Actress. Born on January 12, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. Attended Kansas State University and University of Kansas. She made her debut as half-Vulcan Lt. Saavik in Star Trek II, and later specialized in comic roles. She appeared in the TV series "Masquerade" and won an Emmy in 1991 for her role as bar manager Rebecca Howe on Cheers. Her best known screen role was in Look Who's Talking and its sequels. Married actor Parker Stevenson.
